The mayor of Detroit Mike Duggan (D-Detroit) was elected in 2013 (Under the Obama Administration) has not done anything for Detroit. Yet, the folks there re-elected him in 2017.

That's the problem, these folks keep getting re-elected and yet, they say they will "fix the city" and "serve the people".
Mike Duggan has done neither.
