The President has authority to impose the travel ban. Period. End of sentence.

Trump’s Exclusion of Aliens from Specific Countries Is Legal

The courts have no authority to interfere with the President's authority to impose a travel ban.

The states have no standing to challenge the President's authority to impose a travel ban.

Private corporations have no authority to challenge the President's authority to impose a travel ban.

If the Ninth Circuit decides to interfere with the President's travel ban, it will be a flagrant disregard for the law.

Foreign nationals in foreign countries do not have U.S. constitutional rights.

I am not sure why this is difficult for the left to understand.

Does the 2nd ammendment or ROE V. WADE or due process or freedom of speech from the CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA apply to Bedouin goat herders in Jordan?

How might it go for a goat herder if he claimed the the King of Jordan is a racist and he has thought an awful lot lately about blowing up Raghadan palace?

JORDANIAN law provides for up to three years' imprisonment for insulting the king, slandering the government or foreign leaders, offending religious beliefs, or stirring sectarian strife and sedition.

Would he be protected by the first ammendment of the UNITED STATES CONSTITUTION?

No, because he is a JORDANIAN CITIZEN LIVING IN JORDAN. He has NO US CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS.

The AG for the State of Washington just claimed that the travel ban should be overturned because Rudy Giuliani was interviewed on FOX NEWS during the campaign and he said during the interview that Trump asked him about "a Muslim ban"

(First of all, that is HEARSAY, and any student in their first year of law school knows that HEARSAY is not admissible in FEDERAL COURT....or any court of law in America, for that matter.)

The judge responded....."What percentage of the Muslims worldwide are affected by the ban?"

The AG responded, "I have not done that math, your honor."

The judge replied, "Well I have, and it's under 15%"

DERP!

If 1.4 BILLION of the 1.6 BILLION Muslims worldwide are NOT affected by the ban, how is it a "MUSLIM BAN"? It's not.

Got to love those guys who claim to know the Constitution, the old Supreme Court thinks your full of craap...
Constitutional Rights for Non-Citizens? - Ricochet

But besiades all that this ban is a huge win for ISIS... Only someone who knows very little about Muslims or Terrism would think different...

This ban gives golden ammo to small band radicals within Islam and massive blow to moderate Muslims who are the backing peace...

The ignorance of this ban for starts works on the premise that it any way effective... It is not... If a Terrorist even wanted to be bothered to get into the US he could easilly with Money and no stupid wall is going to stop that... Just look a the Gazza - Eygptian border it is 4 miles heavilly guarded by Israeli soldiers and thousands come and go every day using tunnells.. No anti tunnelling rade works below 50 ft and it is very expensive and unreliable..
Secondly all this ban does is put pressure in Islamic countries to divert resources from hunting Terrorists to areas like Healthcare and Education... With the attitude, if US doesn't give a crap why should we... We will contain them and say if you stop killing other Muslims we can concentrate on other stuff... Those were your allies you just lost.
Thirdly, it allows the Muslim world to say you don't give a crap. The US destabilized a fragile region invading Iraq and turning it from a dictatorship into a failed state of lawlessness. On top of that Bush could have killed the founders of ISIS (Al Anbar) before the Iraq war but didn't so they could have a stronger case for war (ref Black Flags)

So this whole thing is a good solid win for ISIS when Obama and Muslim Allies had them on there knees... Mosul will fall even win Trump fighting against them.

Libs disagree. Libs think only their agenda applies to the law. Otherwise it's mean and unconstitutional.

Well now, the Ninth Court has been upheld in the first appeal. Looks like that there are other judges joining in that interpretation of Constitutional Law. LOL

Wrong again!! you only have to read the Preamble to find absolute proof of the covered persons.

Based upon the questions asked today it looks like the 9th Circuit Moon Bat judges are doing everything they can to hold the door open for Muslim terrorists. The blood of Americans will be on their hands and they are too damn stupid to care.

Well Obama had the authority to tell Putin to "Cut It Out".....woohoo,,,,hes so manly

The Obama administration has announced America’s first Ebola-related travel restrictions, forcing passengers originating from affected countries in west Africa to fly via US airports with screening procedures in place.

The limited move comes after days of mounting political pressure to introduce outright travel bans on such passengers entering the US, but will instead make sure all recent travellers to Liberia, Sierra Leone or Guinea are subject to basic tests for fever and face questioning on possible exposure to the disease.

The 14th does not say non citizens have rights, nor does the fifth. Your link to all of that BS in the text says only that some persons opinion is that it does. The court case it cites was about US citizens being subject to Us laws while in another country. And foreign nationals being subject to our laws while in our country. There is no religious ban, and by NO stretch can you prove there is.

The 14th states that NO STATE can take the Constitutional rights from any person that has them, not that all people have them. The same is true for the fifth. To decide that either bestows rights on people other than those the constitution protects, OR controls is a large expansion of the Amendments with no textual basis to cover the gap.

But groups like ISIS are a minority in Islam .. right ? I mean that's what we are all constantly told by the left so a temporary stay of refugees coming to the US from a handful of countries shouldn't give groups like ISIS a notable increase in recruitment , right ?
