The way I see it, another US civil war is nearly inevitable. Even if Trump wins 2020 (which I think he will), the Dems are not going to change their ways. They're going to continue their push for gun confiscation, GND/Socialism, 4th term abortion, obstruction, and the rest of their insanity.
But is it insanity, or could it be nothing but a power grab by the Swamp Dems? Follow me...
As I say, civil war seems inevitable. Dems have already established Blue Sanctuaries, and Republicans are starting to do the same (heartbeat bills, Constitutional carry, etc). This will continue to escalate, until the boundaries become geographic as well as political, and then it starts...
But who controls the military? The Dems know that a large percentage of our troops are conservative, and they can't hope to maintain control of US forces. They also know they can't win an armed conflict against Conservatives.
So they need an ally, but who could that be? Obvious answer: Russia and/or China. It's very clear that Dems in power don't give a damn about real American citizens, and seek only to increase their power and riches. They have no regard for human life, that is well proven.
Conclusion: It's very possible that Swamp Dems are playing the long game, and have been for years. Collusion of this nature makes infinitely more sense than Trump "colluding" just to get elected. No sane US Citizen really wants Socialism, and certainly no US politician can justify it. They only want it to accelerate the downfall of the USA, so they can become czars.
