Should we punish him for the rest of his life for this?

No, we should NOT punish someone much later in life if they had done something really stupid as a drunken teenager. Frankly, who hasn't done something really stupid when they were a teenager ? (drunk or not)

Unlike Weinstein, Batali, Lauer, Moonves, etc.... Kav was a HS student when this allegedly happened. Where as the silence of women who worked in the industries and corporations where Weinstein, Batali, Lauer, Moonves, etc are powerful and influential, Kav had nothing to lord over Ms. Ford's head as a way of intimidation. So the "me too" movement which has been wonderful as far as getting women to speak up and speak out does not apply here; Ford...if she was attacked...should have came forward no later than 48 hours after this alleged attack. Hell; I'd even give her until the end of the following month because maybe she had something going to where this would wreck her schedule. Whatever. This 35 years after the event is nonsense. It's being reported on CNN that Ford has told friends she has to have a door leading to outside in her bedroom because of feeling trapped.

Seems odd if this is something she has struggled with for over 35 years to the extent she must have a door in her bedroom that leads outside along with her professional background, that the only time she mentioned the attack is in a marriage therapy session.

I think her story should be discounted as truthful based on her claims, timing of her claims and no supporting details. I think basing credibility on lack of other claims is dangerous, and will predictable lead to additional unprovable claims from other women. CNN reported they are doing just that.

I know for a fact women lie. Matter of fact I had a woman lie and say I raped her while I was in the military. I welcomed the investigation because I had nothing to hide and wanted to clear my name.
