I am sorry. I thought you over 50? Too old to be sent out climbing poles in 20 below?

I'll be 42 this coming summer, and I work in our Maps & Records Department, part of Operations Support/Engineering. That means I get to sit inside the nice warm building, rather than being out freezing my butt off. Though I would suggest that most of our Linemen are probably 50 or more years old.

Nope. I'm a Maps & Records Technician, utilizing CAD and GIS software to maintain mapping systems. My guess is that you saw a comment about CAD and assumed it was a CAD/CAM operator, which is incorrect. Our department IS Unionized and I happen to be the Steward. Hope that clarifies everything for you.
