Solution.........The states that want it secured will appropriate the funds.........and build the dang walls and extra security and flip the Federal gov't off in the process..........And the left can try and stop it..........then we can have a 2nd Amendment argument.

Don't build the wall but let Trump tell his supporters that it's built.

This satisfies liberals as it doesn't waste funds on an imaginary issue with a solution that doesn't really do anything.

It satisfies Trump because he gets to brag that he accomplished his goal. (Isn't that all he really cares about anyway?)

And his supporters get to feel safer and like they won the argument. Since Trump supporters will believe literally anything Trump says, with no need to verify, the absence of an actual wall won't really matter to them.

The really funny thing is that your post may be the only feasible solution. Trump keeps getting caught by the reality that a 2200 mile isn't going to be built, not without a decade or so of eminent domain takings. And there are spaces in west Texas so far from roads that a wall doesn't make any sense, and they'd tear it down faster than we'd repair it. Or they'd just go over it ... assuming they found a way to get across the desert without water.

Everytime he gets caught, he poses like Mussolini and declares victory for his wall ... and everyone quiets down ... for awhile. Thus far, this time it appears Pelosi ain't gonna quiet down.
