A guy that went thru Ranger school said it was like "Hell on steroids"

Ranger school requires a solder to complete all phase's from day1 to graduation. Although the candidate can recycle a phase due to an accident or a medical emergency.
I remember reading about this back when it was a current news story.
The females were given 2 and even 3 do-over's to complete any phase they had previously failed.
This is idiotic, because in combat the enemy shooting at you doesn't stop their attack and give you a free do-over.
Plus, it's not fair to the other Ranger's having to serve with a substandard female soldier in their ranks.

The media was banned from observing the training.

There are anonymous reports from instructurs and students claiming that the women had llower standards. However since they are anonymous they lack credibility.

Clearly however the military is deliberately avoiding transparency on this subject. They do not have the excuse that it is classified either. In the past they have openly allowed the media and authors and photographers to document the details of this school.

Obviously they do not want anyone to see what is happening.

Not necessarily.

Ranger school is the sort of traning that lifers get. People serving one or two enlistments usually do not bother.

Reports from the field are slanted and biased and quite possible falsified. we have seen many examples of that throughout the military especially where female training is concerned.

Looking at the faces of those women in the video, they appear to be FAT. I've never seen an active Ranger with excessive body fat. In the video all they showed was snippets of ONE candidate.
