Irrelevant - IF there is nothing there and this was a case of 'get Trump' then there is no reason to worry about the investigation - investigations based on nothing lead to nothing happening. If there is more there than the investigation is necessary.

Either way, getting in the way of the team or crying foul because they are not die hard Trump supporters has nothing to do with the investigation or weather or not it should end.
