So which is it? Are we all the same or not?

Enough with this nonsense.

The problem isn't a black person's skin color that puts them at a higher risk, it's their lifestyle choices. So because they make bad choices in food, exercise or drug use they move to the front on the line?

Are we now going to move smokers to the front of the lung transplant line? Or drinkers to the front of the line for livers? What about fat people for heart transplants?

Get lost with this obsession with color.

I’ve said from the beginning I refuse to get a vaccine so long as there is a person of color on the planet who hasn’t gotten it.

I won’t use my Whu Whyte Privilege to oppress people of color by denying them access to the vax.

Actually, smokers of all colors can move to the front of the line.

First of all the whole thing sounds like a big boatload of bizarre bovine excrement to me. Common fucking sense should inform you that such a policy would be political suicide.

Secondly slick, you are blaming the victim. Black people are at higher risk, not because of lifestyle choices,. They are at higher risk because of the reality of there lives and your lifestyle of racism. It is a function of hystoric and systemic racism of which yiou are clearly a part of. Minorities are more likely to work in service industries where that have close contact with others and unable to work remotely. They are more likely to have living conditions where it is difficult to social distance from others. They are more likley to not have health insurance and access to medical care. If they do smoke and drink more than others it is because of these challenges that they face in life. It is because of raceism. It is because of ignorant asses like you. You have blood on your hands.

He actually implied that my racism is a risk factor to them to get covid.
I mean anybody that stupid should get a one way ticket to iggy land

Is it really racism? Anyone can still get the vaccination. The state is just making sure minority populations are not left out. If the rates of infections are high among the minority populations then it would seem logical to ensure that this population gets the vaccinations. This is a common sense strategy. You cannot stop the spread if the population with the highest rates is not getting the vaccination for whatever reasons. It is not using racism in a bad way.

Given the way some governors offed a large percentage of the covid deaths by way of policy decisions that purposefully placed a targeted demograph of Americans in harms way, which ultimately drove up the death statistics that were used to promote fear porn all over the air waves, I think I'd be second guessing whether I just wanna go injecting lab monkey warez into my veins if I were being placed in the front of the line just because I was black.

Food for thought. Do as you want, though. Heh heh.

Pool may be correct in this instance, and the sources on such information are probably scarce because let's be real no1 wants to be called racist for calling out racism.

But never trust anyone who is so self conscious they refuse to show you their skull

Also he seems to purposely skew what he says to play to his audience and deviates in slight ways from reality that really piss me off. I'm not sure if he's disingenuous or just autistic. But I don't like it

I bet I could listen to this and he would never acknowledge the reason you want to give it to black people in vermont is they probably have the lowest uptake rate. And if you want herd immunity your real problem is convincing those who don't want it not getting the vaccine to those who do. Might as well start early. Now I think telling people who are scared they're going to get a vaccine they have some special place in line is not a good idea....But in my experience white liberals don't understand much about any minorities. Certainly not black America

This would seem to be a clear case of discrimination. I imagine a Class Action lawsuit would solve this, especially if someone who wants the vaccine but is not a member of these groups and thus denied, contracts the virus, or worse, dies from it.

Doesn't that violate the Constitution?

'Vermont is opening up coronavirus vaccine eligiblity to anyone over 16 years of age who identifies as Black, Indigenous or a person of color — prompting fierce criticism online for excluding White people.'

Republican Gov. Phil Scott tweeted about the move on Thursday as states gradually opened eligibility to various populations. So far, the process has tended to focus on people who are vulnerable because of their occupation, age or health status.

No one rewards bad behavior better than DemoKKKrats.

Vermont has come under fire for expanding vaccine eligibility to individuals 16 or older who identify as Black, Indigenous or a person of color, over two weeks before offering all races the same access.
