What a load of shit. Far more white people own restaurants and work in them than blacks.Minorities are more likely to work in service industries where that have close contact with others and unable to work remotely.
Isn't 'white' a color?Lookie here dumbo you got it wrong....go sit in the corner with moonie and put your dunce caps on.
'Vermont is opening up coronavirus vaccine eligiblity to anyone over 16 years of age who identifies as Black, Indigenous or a person of color — prompting fierce criticism online for excluding White people.'
Republican Gov. Phil Scott tweeted about the move on Thursday as states gradually opened eligibility to various populations. So far, the process has tended to focus on people who are vulnerable because of their occupation, age or health status.
Yes whites own resturants. Blacks work in them. But asside from that we are talking about percentages , not raw numbers. Please give me a sign that yiu are atleat smart enough to understand that much PLEASE! !What a load of shit. Far more white people own restaurants and work in them than blacks.
Some do. But they are also the victims of bias attacks on a regular basis. Also, if there is so much “systemic racism” against minorities then how come Asians and Jews do better than whites?
Start dragging these backwards race whores into court....

So which is it? Are we all the same or not?
Enough with this nonsense.
The problem isn't a black person's skin color that puts them at a higher risk, it's their lifestyle choices. So because they make bad choices in food, exercise or drug use they move to the front on the line?
Are we now going to move smokers to the front of the lung transplant line? Or drinkers to the front of the line for livers? What about fat people for heart transplants?
Get lost with this obsession with color.
First of all the whole thing sounds like a big boatload of bizarre bovine excrement to me. Common fucking sense should inform you that such a policy would be political suicide. The problem isn't a black person's skin color that puts them at a higher risk, it's their lifestyle choices. So because they make bad choices in food, exercise or drug use they move to the front on the line?
Secondly slick, you are blaming the victim. Black people are at higher risk, not because of lifestyle choices,. They are at higher risk because of the reality of there lives and your lifestyle of racism. It is a function of hystoric and systemic racism of which yiou are clearly a part of. Minorities are more likely to work in service industries where that have close contact with others and unable to work remotely. They are more likely to have living conditions where it is difficult to social distance from others. They are more likley to not have health insurance and access to medical care. If they do smoke and drink more than others it is because of these challenges that they face in life. It is because of raceism. It is because of ignorant asses like you. You have blood on your hands.
Or drinkers to the front of the line for livers?
Doesn't that violate the Constitution?
What's the source? Tim from Youtube?
Is it really racism? Anyone can still get the vaccination. The state is just making sure minority populations are not left out. If the rates of infections are high among the minority populations then it would seem logical to ensure that this population gets the vaccinations. This is a common sense strategy. You cannot stop the spread if the population with the highest rates is not getting the vaccination for whatever reasons. It is not using racism in a bad way.

So where do blacks fall in this category occupations if so then should not all the people in that occupation be allowed the vaccine or their age? then all people in that age group should be allowed the vaccine. If it is their health status then all people with the same health status should be allowed the vaccine. If not then this is highly discriminatory and racist! Is it really racism? Show me where other's people over the age of 16 are not able to get the vaccinations. Is there a law that says that.
Vermonters aged 50 and over eligible for COVID-19 vaccine (apnews.com)

"Separate but equal" didn't mean blacks couldn't go to school. Apparently you believe that wasn't racist. Is it really racism? Anyone can still get the vaccination. Dunce cap well stating the obvious is pretty easily. You must be one of the fierce criticism makers.
what the republican governor is doing does not mean that white people cannot get the vaccination.
Show me any memo by the Governor that they cannot get the vaccination.
Racism definition is - a belief that race is a fundamental determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race
now how does racism apply in this situation that the governor is doing.
in the state of Vermont they have administered over 200,000 first does shots with a population of about 600,000.
per capital figures put then above 50 % with a few other states.
Affirmative Action is blatantly unconstitutional, moron. It's illegal for the government to make distinctions on the basis of race, asshole. Is it really racism? Anyone can still get the vaccination. There are various qualifications for white people to be eligible for the vaccine....what you do not seem to get is that immediately all Black, Indigenous and people of color (BIPOC) by order of the governor are qualified for the vaccine no matter their age or any other status.
This of course is blatant discrimination based on race.
