For the modern leftist, NOTHING matters more than the party/state, which is one-in-the-same under the Democratic (fascist) oligarchy.

For instance, acknowledging and discussing the 50+ years of catastrophic black murder rates in Democratic ghettos is strictly verboten because the discussion of mountains of dead, black, bodies is contrary to the interests of the party/state. Therefore, murders of poor blacks continue unabated because their interests in life do not outweigh the party's/state's interests of retaining and increasing their power and wealth.

There are countless more examples, but you get the point. For the leftist, the party/state is everything and nothing else matters.

As for the violence on the left, there is an equal amount of death, destruction and violence on the right, which you're chosing to ignore, but the issue here isn't which side is the worst, but rather which party has the best plan for the nation moving forward.

On one side you have the Democrats who want a more equitable and inclusive economy, and whose economic record over the past 100 years as been that of economic prosperity and recovery which favours working Americans.

On the other side you have the Republican Party which has crashed the economy 4 times in the past 100 years, impoverishing working Americans. Republican tax codes since 1981 have transferred 80% of all of the accrued wealth of the nation to the top 10% of billionaires and corporations, and reduced economic opportunities for poor and working class workers.

THOSE are the issues that need to be addressed. It truly is the economy, Stupid!

The right-wing fascists in Italy in the 1920s, 30s and 40s, as well as the right-wing Nazis in Germany during that same time frame, believed such lies.

The left-wing communists in Russia and China and elsewhere believed such things beginning in the World War I era and continuing to the present day.

Collectivism in the US has its place in civil discourse and political and economic life but accusations that ultra-collectivists control the Democratic Party are simply not true.

As to enabling and defending and holding PARTY over anything else, we need look no further than the US Republican Party of January 6, 2021 and beyond.
