Or if it was a story of an Iraqi sniper killing Americans.

I still can't understand why this vanilla movie about war had triggered such a reaction of the masses. It has strong cast but too many fails, Chris Kyle was more a maniac than a victim of war. If he was shown as a maniac killer, such reaction would be justifiable.
