Something I noticed along the last few decades that I've had any real political awareness.

Anti-collectivists, "right wingers", patriots or anyone else who opposed bed wetting commies have never made the sort of overt efforts to shut down the ridiculous voices of the howling moonbats, because what they said back then was absurd and it was assumed that most people would reject it and the bed wetters would crawl back under their beds and die.

Shows like Donahue existed in the 80's and there was not a fucking single voice heard that demanded it be shut down, but when Limbaugh was heard on AM radio, bed wetters were apoplectic and began demanding federal laws to marginalize his voice.

Indeed there were "conservatives" trying to regulate what was regarded as "vulgarity" in music and entertainment, but along with them, and perhaps the loudest among them was a leftist imbecile known as Tipper Gore who divorced a beta male cuck as soon as he was no longer politically viable.

Twitter tried free speech and they got flooded with liars who slandered other members, con artists who used the site to fleece the gullible, and conspiracy theorists who spread disinformation about the government and everything else.

Twitter was forced to ban the liars, to restore some semblance of sanity to the site, as did Facebook.
