Give Democrats nearly everything they want, and Trump gets what he wants causing the debt.

Don't give Democrats anything, they shut down the government, and we don't get anything we want either.

So nobody gets anything, the government is shutdown for God knows how long, and it's a game of chicken the MSM is sure to blame Republicans for.

People get pissed, throw the Republicans out of leadership of Congress, the Democrats take over, and propose an even higher spending bill where they get everything and we get nothing. Trump is forced to sign it, or lose the White House in 20.

His choice was VETO.

Yes it was. And a veto would have shut down the government. That's the point I'm making here.

So Trump vetoes the Republican bill, the Democrats shutdown the government and we turn the economy the other way until it reopens.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for going toe to toe with the Democrats, but my only point is don't lay all the blame on Trump. I don't like it either, but it's a tough decision to make.

Democrats would not shut down the government. Politicians have learned that loses votes. And if they had it would be better than huge spending increases.

Agreed. Nothing would make me happier than the government shutting down, especially when government workers don't get back pay for it. Paying them while under a shutdown is just a free vacation on top of what they already get.

Next bill Republicans should demand a halt to Planned Parenthood spending, social program spending, eliminate PBS and NPR funding, eliminate funding to sanctuary cities and states.

If people are stupid enough to want a change from what's taking place in our country today, then there is nothing anybody can do about it. We have an ignorant electorate. I mean......what's going on today that people would want a drastic change? The economy is too good? Our enemies are too scared? Too many people working? Stock market making too much money? What????

The country (overall) hasn't been this good since the mid-90's, and Trump did it without a kicker like the tech bubble or housing bubble. If anything, we need to give him more power like subduing the RINO's and Democrats in the Senate. Then we would see some real ass kicking around here.
