They don't need to since the criminal sends in a straw buyer..to the gun show, the gun store or the private sale, and they pass the background check...or they steal the gun....making background checks useless...

Background Checks are not needed to stop gun criminals...when someone commits a crime with a gun they are arrested. If a felon is caught in possession of a gun they are arrested....you can do that without background checks that don't stop criminals or mass shooters anyway.
