The reason they have few shootings in Israel....armed military, and armed civilians all over the country, on the alert and ready to shoot.
Yet they have a stabbing problem. Try again.
And those who do it get shot...don't they.....they are willing to die...and they do........so keeping people unarmed means they will be stabbed to death...instead of shooting the stabbers...

Well it sort of works, crime is at all time lows. But other countries have much lower crime and fewer in jail so clearly it is not the best option. But those private jails need business.

THat's a judgement call. Lots of people don't want drugs to be legal, even pot.
But illegitimacy is a source of all kinds of social dysfunction.
