In the 1970s, hippie leftards went all in and formed their own country. They had the support of celebrities like Jane Fonda and politicians like Walter Mondale and much of leftist America. They actually tried to walk the walk. Sure, it turned out to be a complete disaster like every other attempt at a collectivist utopia governed by mob rule. Sure, it resulted in a complete loss of freedom for its members, with torture and mass rapes of both men and women and eventually the death of almost everyone involved. The point is, however, they actually tried to make a go of it.
Contrast this with Chaz. They form a little community in a nice neighborhood, complete with all the amenities of modern technology, have food and supplies brought to them, and do all of this knowing they can simply leave anytime they get tired of playing their little game. It's like little kids playing in a tree house. They have nothing at stake. They are taking no risk, putting in no work, and the entire thing is completely phony.
