A man is fighting for life after a late-night triple shooting in Brixton.

Three people were injured in the incident on Somerleyton Road just after 11pm on Wednesday night.

Officers first discovered a woman and a man suffering from gunshot wounds before rushing them to hospital.

Shortly after, a man attended a south London hospital suffering gunshot wounds. Police say he is now in a life-threatening condition.

And their gun murder rate has nothing to do with their gun control......please, try to follow this.......they have banned guns and confiscated them....their gun crime rate keeps going up...which means their criminals have guns and use guns, they simply do not end the life of their victims with those guns...

For some reason, that fact is really, really hard for you anti gunners to understand......it must be that you think the gun takes over the brain of the criminal, and so must command the criminal to commit murder......which obviously isn't the case since their gun crime rates keep going up, but their gun murder rate stays the same....

Apparently, gun crime would increase, since Britain completely banned and confiscated guns, except for a few hunting shotguns for rich people who hunt fox and quail.....

They did exactly what you want, they banned guns and confiscated them....For law abiding people......law abiding British people cannot own guns, so the only ones shooting at each other in Britain are criminals...........and their gun crime rate went up, not down.......on an island..........

This shows....for those paying attention....that taking guns away from people who do not use them to commit crimes, does not lower the gun crime rate......

In the U.S......more Americans own and carry guns over 20 years and our gun murder rate went down 49% and our gun crime rate went down 75%....showing that you have no argument......

And it shows that law abiding people who own and carry guns will not increase the gun murder rate or the gun crime rate....

Teenage boys planned to 'kill everyone' at Yorkshire school in Columbine-style gun and bomb massacre, court hears

Two teenage boys planned to “kill everyone” at their Yorkshireschool in a Columbine-style massacre using bombs and guns, a court has heard.

The document said the boy would “lay low” in Catterick before murdering his ex-girlfriend’s parents and stealing her father’s guns, the court heard.

British teen sentenced to life for planned school attack

Despite some of the tightest gun control on the planet, a British man was able to acquire a handgun, extended mags and explosives as part of a plot to attack his former school.

Liam Lyburd, 19, of Newcastle upon Tyne, was sentenced to life imprisonment this week on eight charges of possessing weapons with intent to endanger life.

As noted by the BBC, Lyburd gathered a cache that included a Glock 19, three 33-round magazines, 94 hollow-point bullets, CS gas, five pipe bombs and two other improvised explosive devices despite the country’s long history of civilian arms control.

According to court documents, Lyburd planned to use the weapons in an attack on Newcastle College, from which he had been expelled two years prior for poor attendance. He was arrested last November after two Northumbria Police constables visited him at his home on a tip from an individual who encountered threats and disturbing pictures posted by Lyburd online.

Despite a defense that portrayed the reclusive man as living in a fantasy world, Lyburd was found guilty in July.

The internet-savvy teen obtained the Glock and other items through Evolution Marketplace, a successor to the Silk Road, a long-time “dark web” site in which users could buy and sell everything from illegal narcotics to munitions using Bitcoin cryptocurrency.

In court, Lyburd testified that buying the Glock was so easy it was “like buying a bar of chocolate.”

He obtained funds for his purchases through a complex extortion scheme in which he used online malware to infect computers, which he in turn held for ransom from their owners.

.'Gunman' walks into Liverpool nursery school as children were playing inside

Police have sealed off a children's nursery in Liverpool amid reports a gunman walked into the building while youngsters were inside.

Officers were called to Childs Play Nursery in Wavertree, Merseyside, at around 8am this morning.

The man, who is believed to have been carrying what looked like a firearm, walked into the nursery and approached another man.

He then left with a second man on the back of a motorbike.

Honestly Jake, I'd be willing to try it. I'm a huge fan of taking 10 states--a mix of large and small states in different regions--and implement laws for 10 years and see what the outcomes are. Not just for guns but across the legislative spectrum. I think you're right but it would be good to see the outcome in a real-world scenario.

If guns made a population safer, the US should be the safest population in the world. Instead, we have the highest rate of deaths caused by guns. Now just like a knee-jerk reaction, I can hear the qualifiers of "yeah, that is just large cities". Other nations have large cities; much fewer gun deaths. Then it moves to the supposed differences of culture. If anything, America has been void of internal strife when compared to the wars that tore across Europe over 5 centuries; they should be more violence if you buy into the well founded and established fact that violence breeds more violence. Eventually, it comes down to "you don't like the 2nd amendment, change it" Everyone knows that won't happen.

What part of gun murder going down 49% do you not understand? What part of gun violence going down 75% do you not understand?

What part of the truth, that gun violence is confined in the United States to tiny areas of democrat controlled areas do you not understand?

Gun crime is going up in Britain, they did everything you want and gun crime is going up, not down....what part of that do you not understand?

Europe had Feudalism.....a class based society, that helped reduce their interpersonal violence. The two world wars and the effects on their people and culture also created more passive people.....killing off a huge number of their young males in both wars kept their interpersonal violence low....and now that is changing, they are catching up. The mistake you guys are making is assuming that they will remain the same way they were in the past.....not happening. Their social welfare states are creating single teenage mothers raising young males without fathers.....fathers who used to teach young males how to be law abiding men. They are also bringing in violent males from the 3rd world who hate Western values, and they are the ones running the drug gangs in Europe. Then, you throw in the fact that the social welfare states are cutting spending on police in order to pay for the welfare state.....and you are losing the one thing that can keep violent criminals in check....
