Trump Administration Admits Defeat on COVID-19, Surrenders as Failures

Yep, we and our supporters screwed the country on containment and control of the biggest, most infectious, deadliest pandemic in 100 years, so all we got is a last minute scandal about Biden's kid. Everybody likes scandal to divert attention, so vote for us and we will give you more. Good luck on the virus, as you will get no leadership from us. It is election year. Winning more important than people dying.
It hasnt been contained anywhere.

Cannot 100% is true, but could be curtailed and better controlled, than adopting a wait for vaccine or herd immunity policy.
How would you curtail it and control it better?

Jesus. Look around, dope. The answer is right in front of you. We are the worst in the world. Literally anything would be more effective.
One, we arent the worst in the world, and two you cant answer the question because, you dont have the answers, retard.

We are the worst in the world, dope. By far.
We're up to averaging 70k new cases a day. The answers are obvious. So much so that even "shithole countries" are doing better.
We are just handicapped by the retard "freedom" class that refuses to do their part.
Again, misinformed and stupid posting by a libber. We are not the worst in the world by far. More cases is the result of increased testing, our mortality rate is below that of the global average. Severe case rate way down to below half a percent. As for a retard "freedom" class, the only party that didn't do their part was Democrats and their state's global leading mortality rates whiner.

No, dope. The new cases are a result of the virus spreading out of control. Not testing.
We are at record highs.
You whiners have been claiming "record highs" since March, you realize that right? 135 million tests at a 6.6% positive rate GIVES YOU LOTS OF CASES goofy! The deaths are waaaay down, don't you get it? People have and will have the virus, testing proves it, but they aren't dying like when Killer Cuomo was on the loose. Do you wackos ever listen to yourselves in full panic mode, you are comical.

It's this ^ level of incompetence that makes it impossible to reach any sustainable level of containment in this country.
New infections are up 40% from the summer and rising in 47 states. We're averaging around 70k new cases a day now. Up from 40k. The seven day average today is 500k new cases. The death rate is still 2.5% or more. That's 12k people from just the last week that may die in the coming weeks.

But by all means, remain ignorant, dope.
The mortality rate falls every day....70,000 cases with 500 deaths will continue to drive it down, if the deaths are even Covid related. New cases are good it proves the testing is working.....most all these folks have no idea they even have the virus. Severe case rate at below a half a percent hospitals are open with lots of space. So why are you still whining libber??

WTF?
You are such a dope.
The motality rate is still 2.5%. That would be 12,500 of the 500k in the last week. Not 500. A severe case rate of 5% would obviously be double.
Now if you had half a brain or the ability to use it, you might notice that deaths from Covid typically follow a severe case. That would mean that the severe case rate must at least match the mortality rate. Now, since not every severe case results in death, the severe case rate must be higher than the mortality rate.

Let's put this info in perspective. The increase in cases is no joke to be written off as simply "testing".
These numbers represent real people who will need a hospital bed for at least some time. Given that some ICU stays can be 10-20 days and there are approximately 55k ICU hospital beds in America, it doesnt require much imagination to see a looming problem if infection rates are not reduced.
That's the line you whiners always use.....deaths follow the cases by a wait period. That's why the mortality rate has fallen from 7% to 2.5% over the past 4 months....the deaths are falling not following, can you use YOUR brain to understand that? And I have no frickin idea what the heck you are talking about, I think you are reading articles that the CDC writes about statistics, which of course they will manipulate and skew. GO DO THE MATH YOURSELF WHINER. Very simple division. Worldmeters. 2.5% mortality rate and dropping every day, .7% day over day mortality rates guess what that trend is doing to the overall rate? Can't break it down any simpler moron.

Like I said. You are a dope.
The mortality rate for Covid is and always has been 2.5%. It will remain so until something changes like the virus mutating or an effective vaccine is widely introduced. Don't confuse Covid deaths with the mortality rate. Covid deaths, of course, are variable with the demographic makeup of those infected at any given time. Over the summer we saw a disproportioate number of younger people infected and as a result covid deaths declined. As we are now moving into the colder months, those more vulnerable will be at an increased risk like we saw in the beginning. As always, the real battle is in maintaining enough hospital capacity to care for those who need it. Sustained or increasing infection rates this early into the high season is not a good place to be. Hopefully, the dopes who choose to celebrate the holidays in groups don't exacerbate and excelerate this problem just in time for the flu peak early in the year.

I showed you the decreasing severe case rate, again straight from Worldmeters. Only .5% of any cases require a visit to the hospital you are whacked.

Derp....No Comprende?
And I showed you the flaw in your logic.
Do those Covid deaths result from a severe case or a mild case?
Only in your damaged brain can the number of Covid deaths far exceed the number of severe cases.

This is 100% political to those like Clutch Pearly. She doesn't give a SHIT how many people die, as long as her filthy party can score political points. Hell, her party would deliberately kill people to gain political advantage. They would seed nursing homes with the infected to get the death count up.

These people are evil to the bone.

Worst off, they condone cops getting blinded by their lasers, maimed by frozen large canned goods, bricks and stones, and murdered by minors with knives and bullets. From parolees to vice presidents who extort billions from taxpayer pockets by the way of congress-granted foreign aid, they have plenty of money to buy votes. Our only hope is through God's grace and gift of our ancestors from all corners of this globe we inhabit, love an success through human prayers, tears, and eternal hope earned by living right in the future which God loves even if we lost our way temporarily and leave room in our hearts for those who blunder through life in darkness to become redeemed beings in the goodness of the Lord and savior of mankind.♡♡♡♡♡

I only care about accurate information and dispelling your wrongheaded thinking.

We are averaging nearly 1000 deaths a day for the last 8 months. Infections are growing bigly. That already terrible average will rise while you dopes act as if all is great.

Baloney you aren't being political....and it doesn't matter how many deaths you average a day it matters how much testing you are doing and how many total cases are resulting to compare the deaths to. The daily deaths/cases has been averaging 1% or lower during this same timeframe, the severe case rate has plummeted during this time.....those are the key statistics not how many cases are being identified in our global leading 142 million tests

And we will never truly know how many people had it and got over it or have it now and wont be tested to drive that mortality rate down to flu levels. You Chicken Littles are ruining the country with all your sky is falling rhetoric.

You are such a dope.
The motality rate is still 2.5%. That would be 12,500 of the 500k in the last week.

Geez you wackos are brainwashed.

HEY - IGNORE the Biden Corruption Scandal - LOOK OVER HERE...

It has been curtailed in places, but not contained. It is official policy that we have declared defeat and are not going to control the pandemic, as stated by the white house chief of staff, while trump does super spreader events daily.
You cant contain it when its already out. Maybe if youre on an island and you isolate the few people that get it, but its only remotely possible in those extreme scenarios. There is certainly no containing it in the US and anyone who says otherwise is either lying or they're a fucking moron.
Cannot 100% is true, but could be curtailed and better controlled, than adopting a wait for vaccine or herd immunity policy.
How would you curtail it and control it better?

I showed you the decreasing severe case rate, again straight from Worldmeters. Only .5% of any cases require a visit to the hospital you are whacked.
The number of Covid deaths result from older people, past their average lifespan, with other conditions. Duuuuh! And the deaths are DOWN not UP.

Cases are good it shows the actual seriousness of the virus.....flulike.

Another key metric.....the percentage of people who are tested that are positive....has now fallen to 6.5%. That shows that increased testing is the reason for all the increases in cases.

Well if you want to take severe cases to the total case rate then severe cases are .18%. But anyone with a brain could tell that I was taking severe cases to the total of active cases currently. Are you in a mental hospital??

I don't give a shit about politics, dope. I said nothing about it. That's your game.
I only care about accurate information and dispelling your wrongheaded thinking.

We are averaging nearly 1000 deaths a day for the last 8 months. Infections are growing bigly. That already terrible average will rise while you dopes act as if all is great.

You are 100% political. Your agenda is "GET TRUMP."

NEVER do we see any plans of action from you hacks, not one word on how you would magically contain a virus. No, all you do is attack without any sort of counter soulution.

You want to win an election and think Wuhan virus is the means of doing so. That is the absolute truth and every last person here knows it.

Trump is responsible for the American effort to eliminate thenpandemic, zipperhead! That is right up until he quit.

There was no credit to take. He is loathesome.

Zipperhead? I'm not Japanese, but you clearly are racist.
