Testing is really a useless endeavor. Most places have installed these contraptions that look like walk through metal detectors but they take temperature.

President Trump's right. He was speaking of confirmed cases, not total cases. Confirmed cases require tests.

The total number of cases is an unknown number , at an unknown multiple of the 1.4 Million cases confirmed. Most cases are unconfirmed, most of the infected aren't that sick and don't consult their physicians over this.

The experts were telling us that simply pumping out a lot of tests doesn't really accomplish very much, because a few days or a week later all the testing you just did becomes invalid, since most all the people you tested have come in contact with a lot of different people

Randomly testing has IMMENSE value...in identifying who currently has the virus and where and how the virus is expanding or contracting. No expert has said differently.The President certainly believes in it ...for him and those around him anyway
