I don’t think any-right minded person in this country expects the president to get a single bill through the House for the next 20 months. Not even renaming a court house or post office.

President Trump and his chief of staff, Mick Mulvaney, have realized they’re passing no major legislation through this divided Congress.

So, what will he do?

What to expect: More executive orders, more foreign deals sealed by a presidential signature rather than congressional approval, and more creative applications of the law — for example, declaring a national emergency to build the wall — to get Trump what he wants.

With more @ Forget any major legislation. Anything Trump wants done this term, he will do unilaterally

And on a similar note:

McConnell wants to go nuclear to stop obstruction of President Trump’s nominees

The Dims will do any and everything they can to keep the president from having anything that appears to be a win. And heaven forbid if a SCOTUS vacancy occurs.

On Thursday, McConnell floated a resolution that would limit debate time on the president’s nominees from 30 hours to two hours. The change would only effect executive and judicial nominees, and would not effect cabinet or Supreme Court picks.

Senate Democrats are poised to block the resolution, but McConnell reportedly hopes to use the nuclear option to bypass them.

Remember? Thanks to Dingy Harry, the “Nuclear Option” is a simple majority vote of those present. With Mancini voting with the president, McConnell has a 53-47 lead. There are dozens of appointee vacancies and a hundred plus judicial spots to fill.

Funny thing. That is exactly what you (general you) did to Obama.

And now you are whining?

Well he didn't get anything legislated before besides two tax cuts for the .1%, LOL

So we should expect more abuse of power, basically..
You cannot abuse power that is already legally yours.

Why do you think The Left wanted to overturn Trump's National Emergency Declaration by voting to overturn it?

Because they would have to vote to change the law in Congress to stop it.

You can always return the additional tax money you got back voluntarily due to his tax cuts passed by Congress. Or if you like you can simply double what you pay in taxes voluntarily.

Illegally obtained power is still abuse
Site an example of Illegally Obtained Power?

Go ahead. I dare you to show me how Trump's National Emergency Declaration is Illegally Obtained Power.

You mean like appointing a Special Counsel to investigate the non crime of Russian Collusion when there was no evidence of High Crimes or Misdemeanors, except for rumors based on "Hillary Said So"?

Mueller's appointment went outside the parameters for what qualifies the appointment of a Special Counsel. So he should never have been appointed in The First place.

Are FISA warrants on an American Citizen and Presidential Candidate, "illegally Obtained Power"? Yes it is, especially if you file Fraudulent FISA Affidavits to obtain it.

But Trump had to allow it, because to try to stop it the left would have used it as more ammunition for further political propaganda, and besides that, he knew they were just going to waste a bunch of money, get America all up in an uproar, and then he'd be able to use it against those that conspired against him.

An Innocent man can allow an injustice like that to himself, because he knows before hand he will be vindicated.

Who are you talking too? Conservatives who want to build a sea to sea wall?

I'd rather the dems redirected ALL of the tax cuts to the earning families making 70-200K, and we know the GOP will not help the middle class despite Donny's bullshit campaign promises

The OP cited abuse of power he might use.
Not sure what that investigation has to do with this thread.
