2 days before being sworn in. Ouch. What a way to start off a presidency. Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.

Lawyers filed details Monday evening of the $25 million settlement President-elect Donald Trump agreed to last month in an effort to resolve three pending lawsuits over his Trump University real estate seminar program.

The settlement submitted to a federal court in San Diego indicates that Trump is personally guaranteeing that the $25 million will be handed over to plaintiffs' lawyers by Jan. 18, 2017, two days before he is scheduled to be sworn in as president. The deal scuttled the bizarre possibility of Trump facing a civil class-action fraud trial as he waited to assume the nation's highest office.

People don't seem to realize what a huge settlement this was. That is an enormous amount of "pay someone off" money.

This is the snake-oil salesman that conservatives voted for.

America -- you get what you deserve.

What would possess a billionaire to desire to defraud ordinary people out their hard earned money for the sake of a few million bucks?

He'll be just as happy to fuck them over, as they're finding out day by day, and will find out even more as time goes by.

He didn't. Most were happy and used what they learned. A few couldn't but saw a different way to make some money.

That's what I wondered. I think he's just got a compulsion to screw people over. It's also possible that he simply just doesn't have as much money as he claims he does and resorts to masterminding scams in order to make enough to pay the mortgage on his penthouse.
