Trump holding up AT&T/Time Warner merger because of CNN

There exists no legal reason to oppose the merger between AT&T and Time Warner. It's a vertical integration and the precedent with Comcast/NBC Universal was already set. Yet, the Trump DOJ is suing in court. Why? CNN. Trump wants to force Time Warner/AT&T to sell CNN to Fox so he can get favorable news coverage from 2 of the 3 major cable new networks.

Well, this is a vertical content integration, which means AT&T is acquiring Time Warner for the content it creates and controls...so think Game of Thrones, DC Comics, and tbs/TNT/Adult Swim AT&T already has a delivery means (it's cellular network) and TV platform (Directv). This just adds a content stream to push through those platforms.
