There could not be a better example of the two very different views of benefiting Americans.

1. Not just the Carrier episode....but this one, too:
"Trump: SoftBank to add $50B, 50K jobs in U.S.
SAN FRANCISCO — Telecommunications giant SoftBank Group plans to invest $50 billion into the U.S. economy, and add 50,000 jobs, president-elect Donald Trump announced in New York Tuesday.
Trump: SoftBank to add $50B, 50K jobs in U.S.

Versus this.....

2. . "The Obama administration gave the defense industry the go-ahead on plans to build classic American fighter jets in India..... the Indian government to build the F-16 Fighting Falcon and the F/A-18 Super Hornet for the Indian Air Force in India, according to the Washington Post.... The deal with Lockheed could create 1,000 new jobs for India."

Obama has never.....never......taken an interest in saving American jobs.

Need some proof?

1. The Obama administration had joined the new Arab-based International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), and agreed to provide millions to support international green energy jobs. “In its fiscal 2012 budget request for international programs, the administration has asked for $5.2 million for IRENA.”U.S. Taxpayers on the Hook As Obama Joins a New International Renewable Energy Agency | CNS News How many jobs in the United States will this endeavor provide?

2. Obama regulatory and tax policies sent jobs overseas.

3. “President Barack Obama will present his “jobs plan” on Wednesday at a company which is shipping jobs overseas…. WestStar is a high-end, specialty manufacturer that just opened a new facility in San Jose, Costa Rica — creating many new jobs there, but not in the United States.”http://test.dailycaller.com/2011/09/...to-costa-rica/

4. “This isn’t the first time Obama has chosen to speak at a North Carolina company outsourcing jobs overseas. In mid-June, Obama spoke at Cree LED Light Company to discuss his job creation and economic policies. Cree has been shipping jobs to China.” Ibid.

a. Cree was also a recipient of Obama stimulus funds, a portion of which was also used to send jobs overseas.
Limbaugh, “The Great Destroyer,” p.27.

5. “The Department of Energy estimated that 82,000 jobs have been created and has acknowledged that as much as 80 percent of some green programs, including $2.3 billion of manufacturing tax credits, went to foreign firms that employed workers primarily in countries includingChina, South Korea and Spain, rather than in the United States.” 'Green' jobs no longer golden in stimulus - Washington Times

6. WASHINGTON -- Xerox, whose CEO, Ursula Burns, is advising President Obama on exports, last week told its product engineering employees that it is in outsourcing talks with India-based IT services firm HCL Technologies. Xerox CEO, an Obama appointee, may send jobs to Indian firm - Computerworld

7. (CNSNews.com) – U.S. Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood said today that he told his daughter to buy a Japanese car--a Toyota Sienna--and that she did so. U.S. Transportation Secretary: I Told My Daughter to Buy Japanese Car | CNS News

8. “U.S. funds, Arizona effort help Mexico trucks pollute less
Using EPA grant money, the state offered to refit the trucks with the new exhaust systems, replacing factory-installed mufflers with converters similar to what is required for U.S. trucks. The process takes two or three hours to complete at a cost per truck of about $1,600…. The entire cost - parts and labor - is paid by the EPA grant through ADEQ.” U.S. funds, Arizona effort help Mexico trucks pollute less

9. “…Obama administration is now taking your American tax dollars and using them to fund the BBC World Service — Britain’s state-financed radio network.” The PJ Tatler » Your tax dollars now funding the BBC in addition to NPR

And fools voted for this.....

....twice.

As Obama's Presidency is analyzed, he will be revealed as a a complete fraud. A poser who would say the right things in front of a camera only to sell out America when they turned off.

65 million were suckered by this dunce in 2012

And the true morons are still kissing his ....ring.

"U.S. Steel CEO: All we've been looking for is fairness

United States Steel would like to accelerate its investments and hire back laid-off employees now that Donald Trump will be occupying the Oval Office, CEO Mario Longhi told CNBC on Wednesday."
US Steel wants to accelerate investments, bring back jobs, CEO says

Read between the lines.....what is being said about Obama?

Obastard is the sorriest president in the known universe. And a faggot.

"White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest said that 805,000 manufacturing jobs have been created since President Barack Obama has been in office. In fact, there has been a net loss of 303,000 manufacturing jobs since January 2009.... Manufacturing employment was 12,258,000 in October 2016, according to the most recent estimates from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. That’s down 303,000 from the number employed in January 2009, the same month that Obama was sworn in as president."
Obama's Record on Manufacturing Jobs - FactCheck.org

Sooooo.....who are the real losers?
Is it Obama...?
"His presidency will end with Democrats in possession of 11 fewer Senate seats (depending on how you count), more than 60 fewer House seats, at least 14 fewer governorships and more than 900 fewer seats in state legislatures than when it began. That’s a staggering toll."

Or are the real losers those who voted for this windbag?

Heard today that some of the Carrier jobs saved will eventually be eliminated by automation. The economics works no differently than it does for $15-per-hour McDonalds workers being replaced by kiosk machines.

Seems that, in addition to jobs, America needs a new ethos, the old 'can do' rather than the Leftwing cradle-to-grave fable.
It's failed in Scandanavia, throughout Europe and South America...and, as you point out, even with a President whose intentions are the best, people need to look to their own future.

The right lifestyle choices, education, planning and restraint.

Providing a company $7 million in tax breaks if it agrees to spend $16 million to eliminate jobs..... I'm happy for the time bought for these workers but view this as a bandage and not a realistic solution.

From ABC Indy website: Carrier's parent company says $16M investment after Trump deal will lead to more automated jobs

“We're going to make a $16 million investment in that factory in Indianapolis to automate to drive the cost down so that we can continue to be competitive. Now is it as cheap as moving to Mexico with lower cost of labor? No. But we will make that plant competitive just because we'll make the capital investments there. What that ultimately means is there will be fewer jobs" said Hayes told CNBC’s Jim Cramer.

Trump’s deal will keep 730 union, production line jobs as well as 70 salaried positions in Indianapolis in exchange for $7 million in tax incentives over the next 10 years. And the company has agreed to invest $16 million.

VELUX, a world leader in skylights and roof window manufacturing, is expanding its production facility at 450 Old Brickyard Road in Greenwood,South Carolina. The company intends to invest $4 million and create 21 new jobs as a result of the expansion.

Celebrating 75 years in business, VELUX provides skylights and roof windows through home centers, building material suppliers, lumberyards and independent door, window and roofing retailers. The company also provides a complete catalog of blinds, electronic accessories, solar panels and shades.

VELUX will be adding a new line of products targeting the industrial and commercial skylight business. Hiring for the new positions is projected to begin in the first quarter of 2017.

On an overcast Thursday morning, dozens of businesspeople, government officials, politicians and local residents traipsed uneasily across the wet, muddy ground in Richland County’s nascent industrial park on Pineview Road.

From that mud the county’s largest industrial project in decades will rise.

A host of governmental and business leaders gathered as China Jushi broke ground on what will become a major manufacturing facility on Pineview. The company, which produces a number of fiberglass products, is set to make a $300 million investment in the county and will create 400 jobs in a first phase.

The new plant is set to be completed sometime in 2018. China Jushi will be the cornerstone of the county’s new industrial park, using about 197 of the 900 acres. China Jushi’s commitment is the second richest economic development investment in Richland County history, trailing only the $600 million 1981 investment by Union Camp (now International Paper).

The arrival of the Chinese manufacturer was trumpeted Thursday by Lt. Gov. Henry McMaster, who was on hand for the groundbreaking ceremony. It was his first economic development groundbreaking since becoming governor-to-be. The lieutenant governor is soon headed to the governor’s office following Gov. Nikki Haley’s appointment as a United Nations ambassador.

I was so hoping that Political Chick would continue her role of holding government accountable. Seeing "her" switch to a spin machine for Trump is disappointing.

How a Greenville man has brought 2,200 new jobs from China

Ling worked for the state Commerce Department for 14 years and ran its recruiting office in Shanghai for a decade before moving back to Greenville in 2014.

Over the years, he helped persuade nine Chinese companies to locate new factories in South Carolina.

Together, the manufacturers announced plans to spend nearly $800 million and create more than 2,200 jobs in the counties of Greenville, Spartanburg, Laurens, Kershaw, Chester, Lancaster, Clarendon and Richland.

The most recent announcement — and the biggest — came on May 31 when the Commerce Department said a firm called China Jushi would spend $300 million and hire 400 people for a new fiberglass factory in Columbia.

Ling said the project started with a visit he made to the company’s chairman in 2012.

The recruiting work took longer than expected, he said, after the company decided to spend more than $450 million in Egypt first.

Actually, I'm taking notes on President Trump's ability to keep his promises, and planned to post same April 29th...after his 100 days in office.

His accomplishments have been at such a rapid rate that I may have to post his accomplishments pre-inauguration.

Stay tuned.....you may have a basis for a longer critique.

AND....that's PoliticalChic.....not Chick
