MSNBC Anchor Asks Donald Trump Slick Trick Question — See How He Answers

“The candidate is considered a political outsider by all the pundits. He’s tapping into the anger of the voters, delivers a populist message. He believes everyone in the country should have healthcare, he advocates for hedge fund managers to pay higher taxes, he’s drawing thousands of people at his rallies, and bringing in a lot of new voters to the political process. And he’s not beholden to any super PAC. Who am I describing?” Brzezinski asked.

Without missing a beat, Trump added that he is not beholden to any special interests or donors, before confidently asserting, “You’re describing Donald Trump.”

There was only one problem: she wasn’t. Instead, Brzezinski told the billionaire businessman that she was describing Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders, a self-avowed Democratic socialist.

“Actually, I was describing Bernie Sanders,” the MSNBC host said with a smirk, as the audience began to awkwardly laugh.

If Trump can't tell the difference between himself and Batshit Bernie, no wonder I can't seem to sometimes either.

Ted Cruz 2016.

Lol a photo from when that dumb idiot cooked bacon on a gun... really Pete?

Let me ask you Pete, is that not an EXACT description of Trump? She could have easily done the same thing to Bernie. What you also fail to mention is that when he found out she was describing Sanders, he said "Oh ok" and then went on to acknowledged that both he and Bernie do share the same views on some of the issues.

“The candidate is considered a political outsider by all the pundits. Trump

He’s tapping into the anger of the voters, delivers a populist message. Trump

He believes everyone in the country should have healthcare, Trump

he advocates for hedge fund managers to pay higher taxes, ?

he’s drawing thousands of people at his rallies, and Trump

bringing in a lot of new voters to the political process. Trump

And he’s not beholden to any super PAC. Who am I describing?” Brzezinski asked. Trump

Trump will be similar to several other candidates given the parameters of the the discussion. He is a political outsider, the people are swarming to hear and vote for him, he does believe in healthcare for everyone, just not making the middle class pay for other's insurance, he's bringing in new voters, Democrats and minorities are crossing the aisle to vote for him and he has no super pacs.

So, what is the problem?

I saw that little town hall meeting by accident. Of course the border wall came up. Donald said he could build it for 5-10 million $ .. really ?

43 spent over $1 billion on a shitty incomplete barrier and Trump can build the "best wall in the world" for 10 million ??

uh huh, riiiiiiiiiiiight.

Trump - "hedge fund guys are getting away with murder"
Trump - "They're paying nothing, and it's ridiculous. I want to save the middle class," Trump told CBS's John Dickerson. "The hedge-fund guys didn't build this country. These are guys that shift paper around and they get lucky."

Indeed it is an exact description of Trump, but it is also one of Batshit Bernie and that's my point. Trump IS NOT conservative, even though he says some things that appeal to some conservatives. I find that he seems to say different things to different audiences, kinda like the moonbat messiah was fond of doing.

Don't get me wrong though, if he ends up the nom, I'll vote for him. If it's Jeb I will vote for someone else.

I'm pulling for Cruz though, because he most accurately represents most of what I believe, and he fights democrooks as well as republicrats on principles.

I vehemently oppose a massive government program that puts the entire nation's HC under the control of the incompetent and inefficient government.

I could be convinced to accept something along the lines of the Finland system, but not the common centralized euroweenie systems.

Trump has put a lot of effort into making himself out to be a conservative but I don't believe he is.

Indeed, trump is far from a conservative. IMO, there was only one conservative on that stage; Paul.

So what do you find negative about that description? What in that description makes Bernie or Trump for that matter batshit crazy? All those descriptives look pretty positive to me.

And you have every right to feel that way. I consider you an informed poster. But, I believe he has traits of both parties which would allow him to establish compromises between the two parties.

Like I said, I vehemently oppose a single payer system. I also give no credit to political whores who demonize "the rich" or "the %1" or "the jews" and parrot collectivist rhetoric about taking away their shit. I want to hear how he is going to leave people the fuck alone, not take shit from some and give to others.

Again, I'll vote for the bastard, I'll even vote for Batshit Bernie if he's up against Jeb.

And you have every right to feel that way. I consider you an informed poster. But, I believe he has traits of both parties which would allow him to establish compromises between the two parties.

As I've said in numerous other posts, I'll vote for the guy if he ends up the nom. I won't like it anymore than I did when voting Romney though, and I refuse to vote for Jeb under any circumstance.

I've also said many times that I do not want republicrats making deals with democrooks. They're wrong on almost every issue. If I have to choose who the deal maker is, I'd go with Trump because I think he'd make a better deal, while Jeb would sell us out to the globalists every chance he got.

I was disappointed he didn't do better. I still prefer Cruz, but I think they would make a great ticket together. Rand would temper Cruz's hawkishness.

Actually, I think Trump would make deals with the Dems but they would favor his base, the Republicans an d independents. I agree with you about Bush.

When you guys cannot tell a GOP candidate from a DNC candidate, the GOP has major problems.
Because I assure you that women, blacks, and Hispanics can spot the GOP candidate from 10 miles away...

Its shaping up to be a GOP bloodbath in the Fall.

PS: There have been 2 contests. Any discussion of a candidate re-writing the rule book is silly at this point.
