Just what does that have to do with his employer not wanting to foot the bill any longer for his and other employee's health care? Would save the employer a ton of money by dropping group coverage.
If you are interviewing for a job and the company doesn't offer medical insurance benefits it's up to you to demand a higher salary so you can afford to pay for medical insurance out of your own pocket.
May be up to you but it's not up to me and yes there are some employer's out there that will give you a higher salary so you can purchase health insurance. There are also employer's out there setting up HRA's and that employee can use some it's fund to purchase health insurance.
