How is this different from what the trump supporters are accusing China of doing?

It seems to me that there is no difference.

How is not letting people know that there isn't enough PPE helping to defeat this virus? If people don't know about a problem it can't be fixed or resolved. So by not telling the public about the problem with PPE would guarantee the problem isn't fixed with more people being infected and dying.
