I'll throw this right question back at you: name one president in the past 40 years, without consideration of the $500,000 a year salary a president makes or other sources of income, one who came into the office broke and left a a multi-millionaire. Not someone who made their money after he left office.

I don't think there's any proof of trump being a billionaire. He borrows from Deutschbanke since other banks won't loan to him, refuses to show his tax returns etc. This thing about trump sacrificing his wealth, whatever that amount is, to be president and make America great again doesn't jibe with his history of screwing people over, even contractors trying to make a living.
