Trumps deportation plan would cost $100-$200 BILLION

And once again note folks, that libs will ALWAYS have excuses to not do a damn thing about illegals.
Liberals truly want this country swamped with third world leechers.

Acrtually, its Rs who do nothing while Obama has deported more than any other prez and has increased Border Patrol on our 2000 mile long southern border to more 18,500. They can almost hold hands.

This would probably be one of the worst war crimes on American soil, round up 11 million people, break in homes grab children and parents and shove them into holding centers till they throw them into a country not prepared for that many people.

I'm sure when parents resist being forced from their homes and their children are manhandled by police, they won't hesitate to just shoot them in the street, the true cost of this is not measured in dollars but in human lives and dangerous precendents.

I thought Republicans were the ones who wanted to avoid police state actions. We really want a witchhunt of 11 million on American soil?

Trump seems to think that all you have to do is to pick Juan up off the street and drive him to Nuevo Laredo. He seems to have forgotten details, like the constitutionally required trial, and conviction, first (for which we would most likely have to pay Juan's attorney).

the constitutionally required trial, and conviction, first

Where does it say we need to have a trial and conviction to deport an illegal?

You have to be joking, Todd. How the hell do you determine if someone is an illegal without a trial? Even your average tea party guy can understand that....

If Juan isn't a citizen.....he is not covered by the Constitution. ......

One you have to prove he is not an American Citizen and then you have a real problem. Foreign people are governed by the Constitution:

The reason for this is because of what the Framers of the Constitution believed. They did not believe that the "Constitution granted rights" but that those rights already existed as part of the natural order of who we are and that it merely "enshrined them" and prevented the government from encroaching on them. You have those rights regardless of what the US government says. The Constitution isn't about the citizens, it's about the government and framing the function of the government. Thus, as a human, you have those rights naturally by merely existing, the Constitution is there to prevent the government from stepping on those inalienable rights.
It is up to the illegals to prove or disprove their right to be here. If not, they are gone. They have the right to be heard.............have the right to a lawyer BUT THEY HAVE TO PAY FOR IT................and will see a judge to voice their case...............If they don't have the documentation............Then Adios Amigos.................

And exactly how would you do that?

Remember, its the idiot RWs who are against driver's licenses for illegals even though it would be a way to track them.

AZ's 1070 comes to mind.

aka the Driving While Brown law.

The fools who say we should just "round them up and deport them" have no clue. Nor do they have any use for facts.

Absolutely...

Totally unconstitutional, and against the law of the land.

The freaking ICE deputy director thinks it costs $12,500 to deport a single illegal alien? Maybe he is mixed up on the cost of keeping the criminal in the U.S. on the dole for a year. No wonder we are going broke. You could take a 1st class vacation to Hawaii for 12 grand.
The solution is AmTrak. Load 'em up, cross the border at Juarez and drop them about half way to Mexico City.
Soon enough, the ones not rounded up will leave on their own.

So, we have all the usual suspects here, flat out saying that we should ignore the Constitution, regarding illegal aliens.

No wonder they see eye to eye with Trump.

Hire some Dems to get them the documentation then. They are experts on voter fraud.

Really, I read that from the ICE site on procedures for deportation. Against the law of the land when getting the data from the law of the land...................LOL

Since when did your side care about enforcing the laws anymore anyway. Sanctuary cities are in direct violation of Federal Law..................as is the Catch and Release program.

Trump's plan sounds like a bargain. ...

Because we spend more than that on illegal's medical, housing, food stamps, and incarceration, each year. .....
A new nationwide study on the fiscal implications of illegal immigration concludes that millions of undocumented immigrants are paying billions of dollar in taxes into state and local coffers, and that substantially more would be generated if President Obama prevails in imposing a new executive order protecting many of those workers from deportation.

The 50-state analysis by the Institute on Taxation and Economic Policy released on Thursday found that roughly 8.1 million of 11.4 million undocumented immigrants who work paid more than $11.8 billion in state and local taxes in 2012, even while they were living illegally in the country"

So, add the 11.8 billion in lost tax payments to the 137 billion to deport and the cost of doing this far outweighs any cost illegals impose on the country.

And that does not include counting their overall boost to the economy:

"When analyzed from the vantage point of information derived from reputable, nonpartisan sources (the Pew Research Center, USDA, United States Department of Labor, and leading economists and researchers) then one can obtain a clearer view of this muddled discussion. The truth of the matter is that illegal immigrants are important to the U.S. economy, as well as vital to certain industries like agriculture.

According to the Pew Research Hispanic Trends Project, there were 8.4 million unauthorized immigrants employed in the U.S.; representing 5.2 percent of the U.S. labor force (an increase from 3.8 percent in 2000). Their importance was highlighted in a report by Texas Comptroller Susan Combs that stated, “Without the undocumented population, Texas’ work force would decrease by 6.3 percent” and Texas’ gross state product would decrease by 2.1 percent. Furthermore, certain segments of the U.S. economy, like agriculture, are entirely dependent upon illegal immigrants.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture states that, “about half of the hired workers employed in U.S. crop agriculture were unauthorized, with the overwhelming majority of these workers coming from Mexico.” The USDA has also warned that, “any potential immigration reform could have significant impacts on the U.S. fruit and vegetable industry.” From the perspective of National Milk Producers Federation in 2009, retail milk prices would increase by 61 percent if its immigrant labor force were to be eliminated."

NOt including the fence, that Mexico does not have the money to pay for, and would not pay for, even if they did, especially since a large % of illegals are from other countries.

"Back in 2011, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) deputy director Kumar Kibble said it costs $12,500 to deport an individual undocumented immigrant.

So when you multiply that cost for the estimated 11 million undocumented immigrants living in the U.S., that comes to $137.5 billion."

Donald Trump s Deportation Plan Would Cost 100-200 Billion - NBC News
Not to mention the time it would take to adjudicate all 12 million cases - it could take decades.
You just start it, publicize the hell out of it and drop them with just the basic needs and most of the rest will gather up their possessions and leave on their own.
We have to include thee parents of US born children as well. They would, of course have a big choice to make there.... Either find someone to raise their kids for them, or take them back to their home country.

ICE Fiscal Year FY 2012 Enacted Budget ICE

Riddle me this.................They used the yearly budget of 5 Billion, which is actually 5.82 Billion a year. Divided by the number of deprotations....................and gave you the cost......................Does that equal the cost if more or less are deported........................

Show me how in detail the actual costs of deportation please.............We could pack and ship a lot cheaper than that.

It is in the article posted. The $5 billion dollar budget managed to deport $330,000 in one year. Do the math.
Whatever.............I looked at those articles as well. They are counting the salaries and budgets of ICE PERIOD..................Operating Budget.............which fluctuates a little each year...........If none got deported next year they'd still have a similar budget...................which means that OH NO...........IT COSTS EVEN MORE.

Let's say we deport double the number...........for the same budget................Holy shit man it's half price deportation man................

Get a clue..................It's manipulation by the Gov't. What they have become good at.

As the article states, ICE has the capacity to deport 400,000 annually. it is presently deporting 330,000 annually. Beyond the 400,000 number, they would have to build all new facilities and transportation, as well as expand human resources, detention facilities, courts, judges, attornies, while paying for food, medicine, and even clothing. Only a fool thinks that limited resources are capable of handling almost unlimited aliens.

I think if it was so expensive then congress shouldn't have created the law in the first place. It's called...um...democracy. It's when the people elect representatives to enact laws on their behalf. It just seems undemocratic if the president can decide not to enforce those laws when he thinks it is wrong.
