I think what makes Democrats think they have grounds to criticize Christians for saying that “God picked Trump,” is that it implies that God picked Trump to carry out His will, unlike God allowing Hitler and Stalin, and Pelosi.

I believe it is entirely possible that God picked Trump to allow people to respond to an extremely sinful man who becomes a positive force for good. But as a mere man myself, I can only guess at God’s motivations.
