The reason why Nielsen was fired is proof of Trump's lawlessness. Nielsen reminded him that a court order prevents Trump from separating children from their parents. She also reminded Trump cannot unilaterally change asylum law without approval from Congress. Trump is also ignoring Congress' power of the purse.
