Calling someone an idiot is way too common on this message board and never, or rarely, has any basis of fact. Yet when someone creates a thread such as this one, it is hard not to think of them as being intellectually challenged, or needing attention so badly they are happy even when laughed at.
Here's a clue, folks: My 93 yo dad is not in the labor force, nor is my one month old grandson. Get the picture?
If you think that the 94 million mentioned in the OP includes your daddy or grandson, you richly deserve the title you railing against.
Really, explain it to me. In a nation of 300 million, do you believe the OP and actually believe nearly one third of 300 million are not in the work force?
I confess I phrased that wrong. What I meant to say was that the 94 million includes old people and children, but it also includes a frighteningly large number of able bodied grown ups who gave up hope to find a job in spite of their best efforts to do so, which Obama's report chooses to ignore.
