Your logic is flawed. You assume that crimes are spread out equally among the population. Most violent crime takes place in large cities. Those cities are almost always populated and run by democrats. So the majority of violent crime is actually committed by atheist Democrats.

There are many people who were born into a muslim family but never set foot in a mosque or picked up a Qur'an, who do bad things.

Same with self identifying Christians who have never been in a church or opened a Bible, who commit crimes.
