I saw a similar look when a son told is very conservative Baptist parents he was going to become a Catholic priest and was leaving for seminary in three days. An amazing moment.

I liked Rosie before she became political and used her status to promote a political agenda. I suspect she is a good mother though, who is clear on her opinions, but wouldn't disown her kid because they have a different view and choose another path.
