Kinda fun out of context. I mean she says "we can never legitimize North Korea as a nuclear power". So she says the EXACT OPPOSITE in the actual article from accepting them as a nuclear power.


Her point was that if we are going to threaten fire and fury if they talk crap again, we are either making an empty threat which does no good (see N. Korea on that), or actually going to war next time they pop their mouths off and cost millions of lives.

She said that rather than war, which generals have studied could cost millions of lives, the US should stop the rehetoric, but let N. Korea know that any attack would end in their complete distruction. Continue building our missile defense system. Work with other countries to see if a deal can be made to verifyably get rid of N. Korea's nukes, and raise the costs of them continuing their nuclear program.
