Union Bosses ..1%ers

I am not a college graduate and I do very well.

and what is a 'fair' wage? exactly?

and, are you speaking for yourself or?

No, not at all... I make $20/ hour taking care of developmentally disabled adults with emotional and behavioral problems(after 23 years of service). My private sector counterparts? About half of that.... the rest goes into the pockets of very wealthy people.

so, its not you, its others. OK.

why then, do they not join a union?

Because they will be fired if they try to form one...

A card... indicating whether you want to be part of it or not.

Ah, so you check a card when, every year , month? what?

what % say yes?

and on that card is there a choice offered, democrat, Republican? or is it blind?

every year. and No... there is no choice offered. It's offered to the Union's choice. If someone differs from the Union in political ideology, they can refuse to be a part of it and donate to the candidates of their choice on their own.

BTW....why is it that no one answered MY question. Why is it OK for Corporate interests to donate massive amounts of money to political interests... but it's not OK for organized labor?

Now ain't that a sweet deal? You give your money but are not given a choice as to which party it goes.. crooked assholes those union thugs.

please feel free to check the political party whom receives the $$$ above....

Like I said... Combine ALL union donations... THEN Combine all Corporate donations... and let's compare dicks... OK?

Oh.... and I know who Unions give to.... the one party that even pays lip service to the working American.

Notice the National Auto Dealers went Republican mostly,, hence the closing of the Auto dealerships when the crook took over GM.

No, not at all... I make $20/ hour taking care of developmentally disabled adults with emotional and behavioral problems(after 23 years of service). My private sector counterparts? About half of that.... the rest goes into the pockets of very wealthy people.

horsehockey.

I can name 2 states without even goggling whose works who do homecare and work you describe, went union and the folks really didn't want to either.

AND in todays enviroment, ( well the last 20 years really) unions are over 60% successful in forming (64% I think). did you know that?

and the employee can file a grievance for being fired under those circumstances. you know who with right?

Bullshit. I've been in non-union jobs and as soon as someone brought the idea up, it was threats from management. Whether those threats were real or not... I don't know. but it scared the workers away from talking to union people.

Yeah... slimelips.... it's voluntary... remember?

how do you account for the afscme being third all time, and 94-1 Democrat contributor?

have you figured it out yet?

they should have reported it . once reported the co. is put on a list and the employees are protected from retribution, but I am sure you knew that too. you just told me a few pages ago how hard unions fought for protection and how they fight for the little guy, I bet they would have jumped all over that and even helped the guy file a complaint, did he or she try?

and what were the threats btw, EXACTLY?

there was no "once again" that was your first request, second whats this LIKE I SAID said what? you didn't say ANYTHING about union donations along those lines.

I await your tally, there are a total of 134 at the site, have at it.

Oh.... and I know who Unions give to.... the one party that even pays lip service to the working American.

they give you more than lip service, please huh, they pay you don't they? they give you raises benes pensions plans etc etc etc ....they own you and you own them, a symbiotic relationship and you are part of it. don't play coy.

this hate the corp thing is getting old, you are not doing yourself any favors, it sounds stupid because you have yet to make a cogent reasoned argument as to why.

You're hating the Unions thing has been old for a long time. But, to answer your question... there are plenty of threads where I made the request of comparing all Union donations to all corporate donations... that's why I said "once again".

As far as what the Dems do for unions... Yeah... they work with Unions... Republipukes want to destroy them because they have this fantasy of going back to the good 'ol days of the Industrial revolution where people like JP Morgan, Andrew Carnegie and the like ruled with an iron fist. Which is exactly what gave rise to the idea of Organized Labor to begin with.

You guys won't be happy until we all are virtual slaves to your corporatist world you have envisioned. No one's time and effort is worth anything...except those that "are worth it"... and YOU get to decide who that is. Fairness is subjective in your world.

What are you saying... dude with the guy that looks a little too much like Hitler as his sigline?

I see you're getting desperate now....not a good sign.

Back a liberal in the corner and they immediately play the race card or the Hitler card.....

No... Just mentioned that his sigline pic looked a little like Hitler.. was a fucking joke asshole.

What I really wanted was for him to answer my question. Which I predict was going to be... "if they only present the card once/year... how can they raise so much money to give to candidates?"

Simple... the card gives you many different donation options... one time donation, automatic deduction off of your paycheck, etc. Plus.... AFSCME is a large, Nationwide Union.

Now ain't that a sweet deal? You give your money but are not given a choice as to which party it goes.. crooked assholes those union thugs.

Yeah... slimelips.... it's voluntary... remember?

how do you account for the afscme being third all time, and 94-1 Democrat contributor?

have you figured it out yet?

So unions donate the most to the party that best represents their interests. Gee, why the hell would they do that? :cuckoo:

And union members, by FEDERAL LAW can opt out of paying any dues that are used for political purposes.
