The best three working days of my life are the three days I walked off my job into a better one. I gave my boss 3 days and said bye and not nicely. Loyalty is no longer wanted by employers.

Looks like SPEEA no longer demands a defined benefit pension, at least for Triumph workers. According to their current contract:

The Company will provide a 50% match on the first 6% of employee contribution for the duration of this Agreement. If the Triumph Group 401(k) match increases, SPEEA member can also take advantage of the increase. However, if the Triumph Group 401(k) match decreases below 50% match on the fi rst 6% contribution, SPEEA members will be reduced to the 50% match up to 6% contribution

..which likely really sucks by UK standards, but is actually better than the norm here these days.

I would never, never, ever live in the U.K., so I don’t give a damn what they paid, I’d never live in the U.K. Where I live is more important to me, than pay.
