The US is also producing more petroleum oil than ever before...which also drives the price down. We currently are producing more barrels of oil than even the Saudis are. (Which is astounding)
And the UAE is sitting on a LOT of debt for its new facilities...which means they can produce a lot more than they currently are.

All in all BRICS is in trouble...it's a big global money fight and the EU and USA are determined to win....especially when Brazil changes allegiances they are especially screwed. Make no mistake...Brazil will change sides. They are not exactly thrilled with China or Russia at the moment. And their relationship is souring more and more by the day.
