I had a swastika on a jackass, the symbol of the Democrat Party. Many of us think it is fitting.

A few leftists have used it as an arm band on Donald Trump.

Both these cases are far different from a person using it because they support National SOCIALISM. It's more a warning where they see the country heading.

Should we ban the hammer and sickle because the Russians murdered tens of millions of people heir own citizens or can we use it to mock the ignorant leftists here because that's where their policies are taking us?

I'm opposed to banning anything - First Amendment Freedom of Speech thing.

That said, allowing others to use what ever symbols or motifs they desire helps to clearly define their positions on issues for the public to know, hence such are useful and should be allowed for full disclosure.

That's true. One of my favorite history teachers in high school once told me that to fail to look for all available information and keep learning is to settle for ignorance. I thought at my age i wouldn't need to learn anything else. But I love research and learning new things as much or more than ever.

Who thought they were the only one using a technique though? I was glad to be informed that something i took for granted isn't seen in the same way by everybody. It was useful information to have because I am far less likely to inadvertently do something that could be seen as offensive. And it took about 5 second to look it up and learn it.

The Nazi symbol is a mirror image of it.
