US jobs on the verge of recovery

U.S. soon to recover all the jobs lost in the financial crisis - Jun. 4, 2014

Set your sights on this number: 113,000.

That's how many jobs the U.S. economy needs to hit its break-even point, to finally recover all the jobs lost in the financial crisis.

Breaking even is a key milestone, but was a long time coming. It took just two years to wipe out 8.7 million American jobs, but it took more than four years to recover them all, making this the longest jobs recovery on record since the Department of Labor started tracking the data in 1939.

Verge of recovery? What abut all the recovery that came before this, was that all faked?

Of course you don't figure in the population increase - especially the untold millions of wet backs :eusa_whistle:

Don't forget all the unwanted white babies (poor white trash babies) in the states blocking access to a legal medical procedure.

Soon those babies will be having unwanted babies in their teen years because women's clinics have been run out of their state....

Unwanted babies begat babies begat babies.

Praise jesus and the christian right. Nothing like child abuse and neglect to prove your "right".

Because of course we can't expect anyone of any age to keep their pants on. Can't have that happening now.

Hey, don't you remember all those Summers of Recovery we've had? Ever since 2010, by Plugs Biden's accounting.

When the Great Republican Recession of 2008 loses 8.7 million jobs it is hard to make them up overnight

Especially with the Party of No

Gotta be an answer to the job recovery thing. I suggest the Republicans try the birth certificate thing again, at least until they can bring in a better rebuttal, maybe something with Hillary or Bergdahl. Bergdahl is fresh and catching on right now and maybe there is something there that can be a zinger.

It also does not include the Baby Boomers who are voluntarily retiring

thank god retiring is creating jobs, because obama sure isn't

That does not creat jobs. It is a net zero. One person leaves, one comes in

But it does reduce the number of unemployed. Whereas Bush doubled the number of unemployed from 6 million to 12 million, retiring Boomers have reduced the number to 9.7 million unemployed.

Especially with a President who hates business and a Senate Leader who blocks bills.

I've noticed that MSNBC isn't really doing much with the Bergdahl thing. Perhaps you should check out some other media venues like the NYT or CNN and find out what is really going on in the world. You'd be surprised.
