U.S. teenagers have easy access to a firearm even if they have history of mental illness that increases suicide risk, study reveals

Not a very current study but recent news would indicate that people are still not keeping kids safe from guns. And we still refuse to even address mental illness.

- 41% of teens said they had easy access to a firearm in their home
- Percentage was the same among teens with history of mental illness
- It means there is an increased risk of suicide among them
- Healthcare providers have been urged to talk to parents about safe storage
