Whty are US Taxpayers funding the Ukraine Army and other goverment emplyees?

With $1.8 billion of “financial assistance” disbursed to Kiev in a matter of months the total for a year could come to about $5 billion. That’s enough to pay 400,000 soldiers a thousand dollars every month for a year. (A Ukrainian soldier would be paid half of that in peacetime.)
Kiev can say that US money is paying civilian government employees and pensioners, but obviously if those are paid with US money, it makes it easier for Kiev to pay soldiers with what’s left. (Whether tax revenue or foreign aid it’s all just on pile of money.)

For the same reasons we pass out billions of US dollars all around the world for various needs.

Those in charge deem it in our best interests to do so.

We don't get to vote on appropriations of spending much less federal discretionary spending.

If you don't like it all you can do is vote out your reps and senators and of course vote for someone else in the next presidential election.

Personally I think stopping Putin before he's able to expand into other countries is worth it.

If the Europeans aren't willing to fight the Russians why should we?
Everyone gets to loot the American taxpayers and we are not allowed to complain about it.

Sure, just keep printing money.

What could possibly go wrong?

We are so fucked.

Yes we are because the current administration just prints money backed by absolutely nothing at all. That's why we have inflation, it isn't really inflation, it's that we keep making money with nothing to back it up so our dollars are becoming worth less.

But the current administration doesn't care because they aren't effected personally.

Not to sound cruel, but fuck the refugees. We can't even take care of our own citizens and we're going to throw a proverbial tire on the fire by adding in more refugees aka illegals? And now we're paying another countries soldiers fighting a war that isn't ours?

If there is any positive, they may be educated. Which is more than many illegals that come across the border.

You are right, vote out the scumbags. And I dont think this is going to stop Putin from doing whatever he wants just make us poorer.

The Europeans know that they don't have to fight the Russians.

The idea that Putin is interested in any of their territories is ludicrous. What is not ludicrous however is NATO's intentions to disrupt and destroy Russia. They've been hard at it for the past decade... Duping the United States taxpayer into spending on their military adventurism; And here we are doing it again.

Add to that the voices of the idiots here who think that the struggle in Ukraine is a struggle for freedom and democracy and you complete the square of the retard equation leaving the intelligence value equal to zero.

How much have we given Ukraine in aid so far?
You mean how much money have the DC swamp-rats spent to try to save their little international playground and taxpayer thievery system? I'm sure we'll never find out.
