CNN host Van Jones said Tuesday night that while a Joseph R. Biden election win may still be possible, it “hurts” that the vote is this close and not a total “repudiation” of President Trump.

“I think a lot of Democrats are hurt tonight,” Mr. Jones, a former Obama adviser, said as the Election Day results continued to trickle in. “We wanted to see a repudiation of this direction for the country. And the fact that it’s this close, I think, is — it hurts. It just hurts.

BJ's Pull quote

“There’s the moral victory, and there’s the political victory,” he said. “They are not the same. The Democratic political victory might still come. But I believe people wanted a moral victory tonight.

BJ - Poor Van - He is realizing that Trump and Trump supporters are main stream - and that feels hurtful to him.

Moral victory? Van Jones needs to "feel" what its like when the courts order re-votes in states where voter fraud occurred:

This is what Trump supporters should be focusing on, instead of conspiracy theories about cheating. The point about democratic disappointment is true. We wanted a bigger Democratic win. With a Republican senate, it will be very difficult to make any progress.

My take on what worked for Republicans to make things better for them:
1. Scaring voters about socialists.
2. Scaring voters about violence.

Yeah, that stuff seems absurd to Democrats, but a lot of voters actually believed it. That's what Democrats have to work on.

Even though he is not always crazy -

He was one of those within the bubble that thought that he would see the Senate Flipped - the House Majority increased and a huge margin of victory for Biden.

Bubbles can be dangerous.

The MSM are all propaganda arms for US oligarchs. Politicians have always been bought and sold. Van Jones is a creature of the urban plantation whose job it is to keep playing the race card.
The billionaire class are still calling the shots, and globalism looks to be returning with more US jobs headed overseas, in spite of Biden's promises.

That and stop running populist candidates...

one of these days, people are going to figure out that pro-gress and con-gress are opposites.

The problem with the statist left is their gulliblized belief in the religion of marxism which = death where ever that religion has been practiced. That BLM/antifa 'show' sunk the statist left with around one million moderate Demmies defecting to the Pub party. The quicker the statist left busy bodies learn that their religion of poverty & death is about as popular as a truck load of burnt babies, the quicker they can aquire a quality life in peace & prosperity.

Mamooth SEZ? "Don't focus on leftard cheating.....nothing to see here!!! Don't fear socialism/communism even though it is responsible for over 120 MILLION people that died cruel and horrific deaths because they were disarmed and had no way to defend themselves!!!!! It could never happen here!!"

Yeah, it can happen here, it is happening here and the very ones funding this commie coup have used piss ants like yourself to do their dirty work...the very ones those of your ilk claim to be fighting against. Your kind are simply useful idiots.

141,000,000 votes cast so far and about 32 million are fraudulent, and will have to be thrown out. Each of these states needs taken to court and President Trump's inauguration should be delayed until March.

Repeating stuipd conspiracy theories over and over doesn't make them less stupid or less dishonest. it is, however, a classic Stalinist technique, the big lie.

You're trying to steal an election by doing what Stalinst ratfuks do, whichy is discard any votes for the opposition. that makes you a stalinist ratfuk.

You demand conviction on fake crimes of your poltical opponents. That's also a Stalinist ratfuk thing to do.

And you embrace corporate socialism, with the corporate government controlling the means of production.

It's no longer a question of whether you're similar to hardcore commies. You are. It's only a question of whether you differ from the hardcore commies in any significant way. You don't.

You don't want to face reality.
Democrats don't all support the Democrat party anymore.
That's why the Democrat Party feels they have to cheat to win.

That's because liberals live in a fantasy world and believe everyone agrees with their weird deviant world view. Trump just won 2 million more votes than Hillary and may break Obama's record. It's crystal clear that Democrats do not have a mandate from the people. AND look how razor thin the vote is in Dem blue states.

The Dem cheating is blatantly obvious. They stopped the vote count only in the key battle ground states and dumped thousands of fraudulent ballots into counting rooms at 3am.

I have not watched CNN for four years.

I do think, however, that Mr. Jones is one of the more honest CNN commentators.

I will never forget his description of Donald J. Trump's 2016 victory, which Mr. Jones called a "whitelash." (Presumably because of the incidents in Florida & Missouri. And President Obama's notorious White House meeting with the cop and the African American Harvard professor.)

In fact, with Dems losing seats in the House and Reps holding control of the Senate the election is a repudiation of Democrats.
