Wages at Golden Corral $2.13 an hour

Every person is entitled to a job as well. The government should insure EVERY ONE has a livable wage, home to live in and food in their belly.

Your an idiot, then the goverment will tell you what job you will be doing. What to eat, how much to eat. What time to go to bed, what time to get up. Liberals are good at the idea of everyone being equal, until they talk about themselves. Obama saying we need to be our brothers keeper, well his lives in a hut. Hypocrite.

Never call someone an idiot when your using bad grammar. It's you're as in YOU ARE.

Bolded mine.
Awesome!

The wife and I went to the New Golden Corral Buffet last night, and I asked the bus boy how much they started him out at. He said $2.13 an hour! I asked what the cooks were paid. He said he wasn't positive, thought it was $8.00 an hour. Anyone think they get medical benefits?
At $2.13 an hour, that guy can't even buy a cup of coffee and a breakfast sandwich at Burger King.($3.99) Is it really possible to live on $80.00 a week?
Looks like the cons have succeeded in making the U.S. a banana republic.
Our dinner was $26.00

First of all, not classy to be asking strangers what they make. And second, if they're unhappy with their earnings, they can work somewhere else.

Now isn't that a "classy" way to try to justify $2.13 an hour. Pft!

who the hell are you trying to kid?.......acting like you are so concerned about people making 2 bucks an hour and yet you made fun of someone who needs Viagra because of a physical sexual disability.....only an asshole does that.....and you are no "Independent".....and answer Pops question dumbass....

SEIU is in trouble. They are virtually ONLY a government union. They have almost no private sector members. There saturation in government is at about 100%. There is no growth potential. No more to be had for the Union coffers and to pad the purses of Union mob bosses.

So SEIU is desperate to find new businesses to consume, they have been stalking the food industry for some time now. Fake strikes at McDonalds were staged during the hollidays, fake walkouts in February. But a dozen union hacks pretending to be fast food workers has done nothing to get public support for forcing fast food to allow a mob take over.

This little fraud by the scumbag Hangover is just the latest staged event by SEIU. Cry about the plight of the poor Golden Corral busboy and DEMAND they let the union in to "protect the workers."

This just shows the desperation of the union thugs.

A little off topic here.

In WA state there is a debate going on. There is a push to raise mim wage to 15 an hour ( outside of SEATAC as well).

This got the attention of some blue collar workers that make approx. the same per hour.

If I recall correctly one was a fork lift driver and she said if mim wage was raised to 15 a hour for servers then she would not tip. She saw no point in tipping someone to do their job, just as she was for the same amount of money.

Her statements and those supporting her became a uproar, talk radio was filled with the issue for a few days. They said she was wrong, how could she? How could she demean other workers, when she herself made little money and refuse to pay them their dues?

I agree with her, it makes sense, no one is tipping her to do her job at 15 an hour, why should someone need an incentive to do their job as well?

I believe employers should pay their employees mim wage ( which has been showed they do if the tips don't add up) at least, and if a person wants to tip then they should, they should not be forced ( party of 8 or more rules, which I highly disagree with) or expected to tip or pay the wage for an employer.

Damn I cant believe it.

Did you tip?

He shouldn't have to. No one should have to tip because an employer is so selfish they refuse to pay their workers a decent wage.

Oh for God's sake! The purpose of tipping isn't to relieve employers of the need to pay their employees...tipping is the system that we have in place to reward good service. Now you COULD abolish that but before you do I'd suggest you have a brief chat with someone who's from a region where tipping isn't allowed and ask them how service is there. I think you'll find that it sucks!

Been there. As I stated before, everywhere the food was good, but the service was horrible. Customers would linger for hours, maybe buying a few cups of coffee. No incentive for the wait staff to turn the tables over. They got paid the same whether they waited on a few tables or none at all.

So once again it isn't your problem they don't make enough money after giving you great service it's someone else's problem.

People work for tips because they can make more than minimum wage. Unless they get a customer like you. You have decided to screw them over because their boss makes too much for your taste and you think he/she should pay and not you.

Why is it that the left can always find someone else to pay for their services but never find it reasonable that they should do it?

It was non of his damn business what the employee gets paid. I don't have to "justify" the wage. Clearly, if it really bothered him that much, he would quit and work elsewhere. He probably lives with his parents anyway. :eusa_whistle:
