We do not know yet what communication Schiff had with the lawyer but you can bet your ass there was communication. Schiff tweeted out the exact complaint 2 weeks before the complaint was made public. And we do know the complaint was drafted by a lawyer.

Schiff wouldn't have embellished his testimony in Congress if he had a cut and dried case. Why would he?
