I posted a link that included fyi that this student 'probably' took his life after a fight with his father. It also stated that the principal was well respected and while following the policies and procedures of the school district had not dealt with the student in an abusive manner.
I then posted another another link of an incident that occurred in 2012--somewhere in New England. The legal consequences sounded similar.
Society has changed --for the worse--and I believe most of us are familiar with the reasons. Laws reflect this.
As far as this high school is concerned--since it is located in Huntsville--a well-educated community--I don't really understand the discussion of public v private education.
all I do understand is that a family is grieving the loss of a child --many regrets for all concerned.
