No man is above the law. Was Trump's interference, either directly in GA by calling and threatening officials or indirectly by whipping up the atmosphere that lead to the J6 riotous protests, legal?

A federal judge on Thursday is holding her first hearing in Donald Trump’s criminal case for his Jan. 6, 2021, coup attempt, following a Supreme Court ruling that gave the former president immunity for “official acts” — and just days after he claimed he had “every right” to do what he did.

It is the president's job?

No, not really.

But it shows a problem in the US system when the President and VP can do such things. Elections need to be out of the hands of the people involved in the elections.

Huh?

The former VP did not do such a thing and the former President is being charged with crimes for doing such a thing.

"Was Trump's interference...legal?" is a nonsensical question.

Trump himself, in his own words is a train-wreck. His supporters, his defenders, his apologists s do not use the term "interfere." Trump does.

It is not debatable. Trump claimed he had “every right” to do what he did? Yes, as long as it's framed as -- Trump claimed he had every right to interfere in an election. Of course it is illegal to interfere. We have laws on the books that say so. It is not debatable.
