Since justice Scalia dies, the left has been encouraging us to appoint Obama's choice to replace him, telling us how irresponsible it is not to choose a replacement.

When trump takes offices and makes a nomination, Suddenly it wont be important to fill the seat anymore. Just watch

The reluctance of the majority republicans to cave into a nominee by a lame duck democrat received a bit of phony outrage in the mainstream media but the media never really had the heart for the argument. The fact that dying democrat party brought back an old liberal like Pelosi who presided over incredible democrat party losses in the House of Representatives during her tenure and tired old Chuck Schumer who still blames Russia for Hillary's defeat indicates that the democrat party hasn't learned a thing in fifty years.

the Democrats didn't change the filibuster law for SC nominations for a reason ... take a wild guess why.

DDDUUURRRRRRRR ...

Given that the libs justices are generally in poorer health, the 2018 Senate class of Ds have two choices defection or defeat, for at least enough seats to turn from blue to red for cloture. So, the sane ones will cross the aisle.

Yes, of course they were just full of shit.

to me, THIS is what the election was about

#NeverHillary & SCOTUS appointments

we saved the country - nobody thought we were gonna do it, but we saved the country & we saved the courts

as a bonus, most of Obama's "legacy" was achieved through Executive Orders - it's going to be glorious to watch the next 8 years!

We haven't saved it until trump gives us strong conservative judges

Cruz went on about how there is precedent for leaving the seat empty and how the court should be made smaller. Hells bells, McCain said the GOP would stand united aganist any nominee put forward by a President Clinton. Something tells me that they won't care so much about filling the seat now or shrinking the court..for some reason. lol

Different side of the same coin.

Democrats should repay the favor. Weren't republicans saying a few months ago that we could go 4 - 8 years with less than 9 judges? Sounds good to me.
