"We trusted you!" trump supporters on tax cuts

If you pay attention to our posts, we don't really like the republicans either, but they are for capitalism and not killing kids......so it's a low bar, but the democrats are so evil and pathetic.......and no we don't want the government to run our lives.....and you do.......

I am for capitalism too. I don't want to kill kids either.

Stop letting them dictate the conversation to you and start listening for yourself.

They are not on your side.
Trust me I know they aren't. I saw many of these "right wingers" flee during the campaign, fuck those losers.
As for you, if you like capitalism and not killing kids, you wont go far on the left or the democrat party, because they hate capitalism and love killing kids (I mean the gov of VA actually said the baby would be born and THEN they would work with parents to decide the kids fate..........I mean how ghoulish do you have to be?)

The democrats are not against capitalism. This is part of what is being fed to you. They are against unregulated capitalism, which we are all for. Again, don't let them change the conversation. You and I have way more in common than you think.
I have no issue with finding common ground. but to make that statement means either one of us is full of shit or there is a miscommunication.

so when I say socialism, it means they want the government to take over private industry and have the government regulate our lives and business

Why do I say the democrats are socialist? they want single payer....that is as socialist as it gets
Also they want the government to regulate everything on earth due to climate change....again abolishing fossil fuels, painting cars black, forcing us to use certain lightbulbs, ect is all socialism. If they were for caplitalism.....they would make their alternatives more attractive and convince us to use them.....but they use the govt to force us to use things we don't want (electric cars, non fossil fuel energy, ect)
Who says we don’t want electric cars, and green energy?
Every country on earth is doing it. Except for t@rds.

Talking to you is really like talking to a 5 year old. I get better responses from a brick wall.
I'll try and type this slowly so you can understand.
NOT EVERYONE wants an electric car...in fact MOST people do not...for a variety of reasons.
They are expensive,
they are slow,
they are ugly,
they are inefficient,
there are not enough places to fill up,
a charge doesn't last long enough,
all kinds of reasons.
Instead of hearing these concerns and making the cars better, you want to FORCE people to buy them.... does that clear it up?

And I'm guessing you don't care about the forcing part.....you're cool with that.

now I know what Rdean is going to respond with....I cant wait for it.

Supporting police is not socialist.....the police are an important and actual job of government(the government does way too many things it shouldn't, but police and fire are legit gov abilities).

So to have the conversation....look at healthcare
I don't want the govt anywhere near it.
I think they should have simple and few regulations (say keeping hospitals clean, I'm on board with that one)
But outside of that, they should let people make their own decisions with regards to coverage and insurance.
One thing I like is that Trump wants to remove the restrictions on state boundaries......it's complicated, but in general, states choose which providers they will have and that choice is sometimes mandated by law and they are allowed to limit providers(they should not be allowed to do that)
He's being disingenuous....It always starts with local irrelevancies like cops and firefighters....The next thing you know, you have giant and unaccountable bureaucracies like FDA, TSA, and the rest of the Alphabet Soup Mafia "regulating" your life into the poor house....All the while repeating the mantra "we're from the gubmint and we're here to help"....They're your bestest buddies, right up until they load you onto the cattle cars.

As long as Relublicans have a say....people will "die in the streets."

America is a health-care outlier in the developed world
IOW, you moonbat freaks will continue lying.

BTW, bandwagon fallacy isn't an argument.

Yup....typical Repub....keep the poor down...screw the 99%....but shower the rich with breaks and favors.
I'm not a republican, asswipe...And you're still a sleazy lying demagogue.

Now, don't you have another Mueller jihad thread to start?

I am 100% against socialism as you've defined it above. Most people in this country are. I am for elements of shared responsibility where it makes sense. Ie. I think a fire and police department should be a shared cost by all of us. If my house doesn't burn down, I am not going to complain that I had to pay in towards the fire department but didn't get to see any benefit from that cost. That's the sort of "socialism" I can support.

How that extends to other areas of our lives, ie. healthcare, the environment, light bulbs and the color of our cars...etc....well that's where we need to have the conversation about what makes sense.

But we need to have that conversation and ignore what they tell us about what they want me to believe you stand for and what they want you to believe that I stand for.

Police and fire are "socialist" from a shared cost perspective. I am ok with sharing those costs for those services.

In regards to healthcare. I don't want government run healthcare. My ideal is a mixture of private insurance for those who want it and some sort of basic government coverage for those who truly can't afford it.

I agree with you that I want people to make their own healthcare decisions. The problem we have now is multi-faceted and both government and private industry are to blame. I wish we could move to a model where people pay their doctors directly and we didn't have to have layers of bullshit in between that only jack up the price. Healthcare is a complex issue but Obamacare is certainly not the answer and neither is letting people show up at the ER without some sort of coverage. The cost for those people doing that gets passed down to us eventually and the ER is as expensive as you can get. That isn't efficient at all.

I've asked you to show any proof of me lying about my viewpoint or even why I would do that.

And you ignored that. That's your fault, not mine.

Yea...nobody is a Republican any more.

So what do you call yourself?

It's Rich versus everyone else. And you and I aren't on the Rich team. When you wake up to that fact we will be able to actually fix shit in this country.

Your problem is that you assume because you failed in life and went nowhere that must be the case with the rest of us too.

Deductions were taken away from middle income workers in order to fund the "deficit busting" tax cut that trump bragged about to his fellow Billionaires.

"You all just got a lot richer," Trump tells friends, referencing tax overhaul - CBS News

I'm far from a failure. I make 6 figures but know I am not a part of the elite class in this country. Neither are you.

You're a liar. Successful people who are happy with their lives don't spend day in and day out bitching about how others have more than them. Go pawn your bullshit off on someone gullible enough to believe you.

I'm very happy with my life. You are confused. Me pointing out that our system is rigged against us is not bitching. In fact, I am an advocate of ensuring we are all not taken advantage of and that the poorest among us aren't left behind.

Which part am I lying about exactly? My income level?
