Soldier gets butchered on the streets of London, crowd watches in Horror. And no one has a gun or weapon? No one attempts to prevent this vicious bloody act of terror on the streets?
What? No private citizen is allowed to carry a licensed weapon?
What happened Wednesday in London was a perfect scenario of what will happen if Liberals have their way! They better bring this up in the media.
What would of happened to the terrorists if they attempted this stunt in a busy town in Texas?

Its not what would happen. Its what does happen. Far more innocent people get murdered in Texas despite so many people in Texas owning, and carrying guns. All those guns are not preventing many people from being murdered in Texas.

Actually, gun crimes are much higher in States with the strictest gun laws.

In England (including Northern Ireland) 9 percent of their homicides were by firearm..wanna take a guess at our rate? 70 percent. Also, these arent soliders being killed in random acts of violence, its kids on the street of Detroit and Chicago. Our homicide rate is 9 times what theres is. Last year, more than 500 people were killed in Chicago by guns, that more than half of EU countries. That is one American city that kills more of its own than nations.

P.S. Dont give me some "Chicago has the toughest gun laws in the nation" bs. That may mean something if criminals followed the laws. Take them off of the street and out of their hands by making them more difficult to get as a whole, just like how England does it. Next..

The gun laws in Britain were tightened in direct response to two massacres by British citizens. There was the Dunblain massacre, done with handguns, that resulted in handguns being made illegal. And there was the Hungerford massacre, done with an ak47 which resulted in the banning of all automatic weapons.
The only guns which can be legally owned if you get a firearms license from the police, is a single shot rifle and a shotgun.
Pump action shotguns, and sawn off shotguns are also illegal.

Yeah, and when you delve into the stats you see that most of the violence is concentrated in impoverished neighborhoods. What you have here is a poverty problem, not a gun problem. Liberals and conservatives alike prefer to pass the buck on fixing poverty by blaming guns or whatever other issue they can grasp ahold of.

Because poverty is a difficult thing to fix, and not something that is going to win many votes, because to fix it would require tough choices to be made. So pass the buck and blame anything else.

I don't know "the letter" of the law, but I know that it is illegal for "average Joe" to own most firearms - pistols and long guns; but I "believe" that they can own a shotgun (but I could be wrong on that count).
